Abstract

This course is a digital type of technical drawing course, to give understanding to students in order for them to produce technical drawing using computer-aided software. This course explained the significant of technical drawing as a standard drawing which is used in the product manufacturing. It is also used in other discipline such as engineering, architecture, interior design and other related fields. Students will be introduced and trained to digitally draw (technical drawing) and the training will be extended to following semester in Computer Aided Industrial Design II course. These aspects concentrate in: • Theory and method of CAD • 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional drawing such as detailing, lines, dimensioning, orthographic, isometric, exploded, cross-section and assembling.
