As a student majoring in Bachelor’s in Office Systems Management (Hons), Faculty of Business and Management at UiTM Campus Bandaraya Melaka, in the selected course which is Industrial Training (MGT666), we need to choose the best company to conduct an industrial training. The purpose of selecting the company wisely as the students need to gather information as much as they can while gaining some experience during the industrial training. This report will discuss many topics: the student’s profile, the company’s profile, training experience, SWOT Analysis, discussions and recommendations and conclusion. I have chosen the oleochemical company as my place to do an internship which is Vance Bioenergy Sdn. Bhd. It is also widely recognized that Vance Bioenergy Sdn. Bhd. is the largest producer of oleochemicals among Asian manufacturers. This company is also applying an equal-opportunity and meritocracy-based system which means they give the same chances to everyone to prove their abilities. During the internship program, I have gained many experiences in the Human Resources & Administration department including assisting in preparing the “Hari Raya Gatherings Vance”, participating in the Food Handling training, in charge of maintaining the office stock and stationery items, and many more. In the industrial training, I also analyzed some of the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats over their competitors, discussions and recommendations of the SWOT analysis. This report will bring readers to the depth of the information that many people do not recognize in Vance Bioenergy. Sdn. Bhd.
