Abstract

This chapter focuses on the background of study which is on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) specifically, ChatGPT towards the academic performance of students. The scope ofstudy is focusing on the impact of ChatGPT towards the academic performance among students in UITM
Kota Samarahan Campus 2. The total population of students in UITM Kota Samarahan Campus 2 is 3140 students. This chapter review proposal aims to analyze and evaluate the impacts of ChatGPT towards academic performance among university students in Sarawak, specifically, UiTM students in Campus Samarahan 2. Section 1.1 discusses the Chapter Review, Section 1.2 the background of study, Section 1.3 explains problem statements, Section 1.4 is the Scope Studies and Section 1.5 states the Significance of the Study, Section 1.6 is on the Objectives ofthe Study. Section 1.7 explains about the research questions, Section 1.8 and finally Section 1.10 is on chapter summary.
