Industrial training report: MP Industries'

Generally, internships give a professional learning opportunity for students to get exposure with relevant, hands-on work that is connected to their area of study or career interest and a student can explore as well as enhance their career while learning new skills through an internship. As per the academic requirements for completing a Bachelor's in Office System Management (Hons)from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), students are required to complete a six-month internship with any recognized company in order to gain thorough understanding of the field speciality they have chosen. In regards, students must also submit a report that highlights the key elements that have been outlined by the faculty, including company background, experience gained, the analysis to identify and describe the work environment, and more. There were many important points in my internship phase when I felt satisfied with myself for reaching my personal goal, which was to obtain as much as possible job experience in industrial training. In order to clearly show my qualifications for any applicable job positions in the business industry, this report begin with an overview of my personal background followed by a few in-depth insights into MP Industries' operations such as company background, products and services offered, organizational structure and so on. Besides, I will also share my training reflection on how they affect personal perception of the workplace environment which includes all aspects such as intrinsic and extrinsic benefits, the department to which I have been assigned and how this task should be carry out appropriately. MP Industries is one of the companies whose nature of business is heavy engineering related to steel fabrication and in this report, SWOT analysis will be use as a tool to do a comprehensive measurement to outline company strengths weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the combination of theoretical understanding and tried to relate it with the practical experience which I gained in this organization. Since my field of specialized knowledge is related to business administration and human resources management there are several parts of this report consisting of the experience handling company administrative procedures and staff-related tasks. At the end of my observation, few numbers of recommendations will be given which in my point of view are important for the company to give attention and this report will be conclude with the hope that I will advance in confidence, professionalism and skill in the future.
