My day of a 6-month long industrial training program that was both amazing and informative was spent at the Nilai Springs Resort Hotel and Country Golf Club. I was an intern at the Nilai Springs Resort Hotel Sdn. Blid. which specifically manages the hotel division. This training report provides details about my training period that I spent at the Nilai Springs Resort Hotel and Country Club. My time of practical training begins on March 1, 2023 and continues through August 15 of the same year. Nilai Springs Resort Hotel and Country Golf Club is a resort that provides customers with the greatest and most comfortable accommodations. I was assigned to the Human Resource Department during my internship. I have been tasked with doing duties that are associated with the job of Human Resources and Administration. These duties include things like compiling and verifying the staffs overtime and claims forms each month for payroll and addressing the requirements of newly recruited staff members. During the duration of my internship, I was given the opportunity to receive training, make improvements to myself, and gain a variety of professional experiences. Nilai Springs Resort Hotel Sdn. Bhd. has a SWOT Analysis with attractive fringe benefits like meal, medical, and recreational benefits, a good work environment, and strong relationships between employees from different departments regardless of race, religion, or position. As for weaknesses, difficulties to get local trainees as the trainee choose the internship placement by themselves, and both domestic and international workers resign and are tardy. Creating a social media platform to market the business and being strategically located are opportunities. As for threats, social media is now preferred by most people over traditional methods and more 4- and 5-star hotels are coming up in Nilai, Sepang and Putrajaya.
