To fulfill the requirement for a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, the student must undergo Industrial Training at the chosen company. My fascinating and insightful 6-month training began at Worldwide Holdings Berhad under the Human Resource Department. The primary purpose of an internship program is to provide students the real working exposure and gain knowledge. I began my industrial training on the 1st of March and continued through the 15th of August 2023 under Ms. Heizarina Eza Norzi, the Assistant Manager of Human Resources. This report will provide a summary of Worldwide Holdings Berhad and the findings that were obtained during the industrial training sessions performed there. This report is divided into multiple parts, and the first crucial part is introducing the company's profile, including the company's history, vision and mission, objectives, goals, products and services and board of directors. The next part of the report is a reflection on industrial training, which highlights the abilities or strengths taught and used during industrial training. Moving on, the key findings in this report are the company's SWOT analysis which I have identified based on my observation throughout the internship period with the company. Accordingly, this report includes the company's strength which is the variety of products and services and a strong focus on innovation and digitalization. Meanwhile, the weaknesses include the high turnover rate and Lack of workforce diversity. Moreover, in terms of Worldwide opportunities, I have included 2 main points, which are the high demand for energy and electricity supply in Malaysia and the current trend in the waste management business. Last but not least, the threats that the company may be facing are increase in inflation rate and changes in the political environment.
