Abstract

Haulage activities has become impor­ tant in Malaysia since containerisation sector plays its part in the import and export business. Since that, many hauliers have begun competing after the first step, which was taken by Kontena Nasional Sdn. Bhd. to become the pioneer haulier in haulage business returned higher revenue than what was expected. This study have been carried out to give a clearer picture of how the haulage business are conducted by a young haulage company, Multimodal Freight Sdn. Bhd. Moreover, the study is also done to connect the importance of a container yard with haulage acvities . The study have been divided into a few chapters with an emphasis on haulage and container yard operations in certain chapters. The examples of docu­ments involved in the operations are also attached for reference. Therefore, I hope that this study will contribute to the understanding of how haulage and container yard activities are carried out by a haulier after being practically involved in the activities for six months.
