FPS543 : Drama and theatre criticism / Faculty of Film, Theatre and Animation

Students will be facilitated to compare and analyzed the transformations of dramatic texts into theatre productions within the paradigms of dramatic and theatre criticism amalgamating within it aesthetics, production and performance theories. Students are required to present their drama and theater criticism ranging from traditional, realistic, contemporary plays and the other sub genres of dramatic texts and theatre productions including children's theatre, site theatres, musicals and adaptions of western theatres. This course will train students to subterranean read and recognize text and theatre production as informed critics besides empowering their visual thinking, subsequently as to see text and theatre in an enlightened critical light .
