The perspective of Diploma in Public Administration (DPA) student towards joining practical training offered by the Faculty of Administration Science and Political Study in UiTM: a study in UiTM Samarahan Campus which focus on the students in Part 4, Part 5 and Part 6 / Noor Nazreen Amira Che Rahmat, Zal Zaine Zainol Abidin and Nur Henna Che Shahrin

This research is about the perspective of Diploma in Public Administration (DPA) student which respondent are particularly part 4 to part 6 students towards taking part or joining the practical training which offered by the faculty of Administration Science and Political Study in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Working experience has become a vital component when one is looking for a job. Apart from the education and qualification of the candidates, most of the employers especially nowadays will consider those with working experience rather than typical candidates. For fresh graduates without any working experience, practical training may help them gain some experience and knowledge on the real world situation and thus can enhance their resume (Yusoff, 2008). Thus this study can help to contribute towards the importance of practical training towards student who still studying. This will help them in come to a decision whether they should or shouldn’t accept the practical training offered to them as long as to raise the quality of their job resume.
