Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between usage of social networking site (SNS) and students' academic performance among BM232 students in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Pahang. The respondents involved in the study were Bachelor in Office Systems Management students only. The major finding indicated that most of the students were engaged in the use of SNS mainly for socializing activities rather than for academic purposes. The present study has identified that there was no relationship between usage of Facebook (purpose and frequency of using it and time spent on it) and students' academic performance (CGPA). Generally. the students' grades were at the range of 3.00 - 3.49 (second class). This study also highlighted several recommendations and conclusion for future improvement.
