Abstract
The proposed machine is engineered to streamline the process of obtaining coconut flakes with minimal effort. After accessing the coconut water, the coconut is halved, revealing a continuously rotating scraper mechanism activated upon machine start-up. This rotating scraper effectively and efficiently extracts the coconut flakes, which are retained within the coconut shell. Notably, the machine is designed for mobility and user friendliness. The primary target users for this innovation are entrepreneurs engaged in small-scale coconut water production. By integrating this machine into their operations, they can significantly reduce both the time and physical exertion required to produce coconut water with intact coconut fillings. The development of this machine involves a multifaceted manufacturing process, encompassing cutting, welding, lathe work, and grinding, to ensure precision, durability, and operational efficiency. In conclusion, the creation of this specialized coconut flakes extraction machine represents a noteworthy advancement in coconut processing technology. It addresses the labour-intensive aspects of coconut preparation, particularly benefiting small scale coconut water producers by enhancing productivity and reducing manual effort
