Abstract

Malaysia continuously produces undergraduate students on the labour force every year. Nonetheless, making a wrong career choice would have long-term implications for a person. The wrong career decision is going to make a person unhappy and waste money. The purpose of this study is to identify what is the factor could influence career choice among Human Resources undergraduate students in UiTM Kampus Bandaraya Melaka. The population used in this study including students from semester 1 until semester 6 with total of 430 students and sampling number of 203. The data were collected from respondents and calculated using SPSS. The result of study revealed that all the independent variables has significant relationship with dependent variables where the value is low than 0.05. Interpersonal influence turns out has lowest impact toward career choice compare to financial outcome and interest in the subject. The finding of this study could be useful for upcoming researcher and student as it can give knowledge on what can influence them when making career decision.
