Abstract
The course provides knowledge and understanding to the students on the basic concepts and principles of town planning. This includes the categories and levels of planning, town planning administration and the development plan system. It also covers development control system and techniques in the preparation of layout plans and urban redevelopment process. Development of the application of Computer Aided Design – CAD (planning Software) is required in order to provide an understanding of the application of CAD systems and their development in future.
