Abstract
This project integrates lekar basket base designs from Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu into a functional partition by blending traditional weaving techniques with modern materials like metal frames and Nypa palm sticks. The careful selection and arrangement of basket bases highlight each community's unique designs, showcasing the interplay between tradition and innovation. This creative endeavor aims to integrate lekar basket base designs from Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu into a partition using traditional weaving techniques alongside modern materials like metal frames and Nypa palm sticks. The careful curation of the basket bases symbolizes the harmony between heritage and modernity, celebrating Malaysian craftsmanship within a contemporary context.
