Abstract
Heavy vehicles such as logging trucks are often feared by road users. This is because the safety features of the vehicle are not emphasized. Therefore, this issue can be addressed by creating a log truck that has a semi-autonomous system and also has very good safety features. This semi-autonomous system is specifically designed for use when the truck does not reach the maximum load that has been set. This truck can be driven without requiring energy from the driver. In addition, this truck also has a load sensor that works when the load is filled on the truck. These features are very important for the truck to avoid overloading. Furthermore, the compartment at the back of the truck can be extended. These features were created so that trucks can carry more load without harming road users. A survey was conducted with a total of 30 participants using a questionnaire, and observations were conducted on road users and heavy truck drivers. As a result, this semi-autonomous truck can handle safety issues efficiently and also create a high-tech and futuristic truck
