Abstract
The Hydro Home Garden Farming project addresses the pressing issue of limited space for home gardening in apartment houses. This innovative design aims to empower families, entrepreneurs, hobbyists, retirees, and seniors to cultivate plants at home, generating extra income while overcoming space constraints. The primary design objective is to create an efficient, portable hydroponic system that is user-friendly and requires minimal maintenance. The identified problems include insufficient space for traditional planting and the lack of direct sunlight within interior spaces. To tackle these challenges, the Hydro Home Garden Farming design adheres to specific criteria: portability, user-friendliness, low maintenance, health and safety considerations, and adaptability to limited space. Targeting urban dwellers with limited space and low-income households, the product strives to provide a viable solution for cultivating plants indoors. By offering an accessible and space-efficient hydroponic farming system, this design aims to empower users to grow their produce, fostering self-sufficiency and contributing to a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
