Abstract
This course discusses the concept of quality and the importance of quality printing in relation to business survival and competitiveness. Students will learn the fundamentals of statistical process control (SPC) as a defect prevention approach to print production processes. Students will explore the role of management and its involvement in addressing the need for change and making quality improvement program work. Class sessions are a combination of lectures, discussion, and when appropriate, guest speakers.
