Abstract
As the development of technology arise in Malaysia, online shopping activities develops rapidly in recent years. Realising how active people are in performing online shopping, this study aims to identify the factors that affects higher learning institutions students’ intention towards online shopping at Politeknik and UiTM Mukah, Sarawak. Questionnaires were distributted to 350 reposndents at the institutions. A total of 342 questionnaires were collected and usable. Therefore, all the 342 data were used to test the research objetives. The data were analyzed using demographic profile, descriptive analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis. In order to determine the impact of Trust, Perceived Usefullness, Perceived Ease of Use and Compatibiltiy towards Behavioral Intention, means and multiple regresssion analysis have been used. Findings showed that Compatibility has the most impact towards Behavioral Intention. Moreover, it was also found that all the variables (Trust, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Compatibiltiy) were significantly and positively correlated with behavioral intention ofstudents towards online shopping.
