Abstract
This course is concerned with examining an understanding of politics in the context of urban and regional planning, the relationship between the politicians and planners, planning decision-making process, governmental structure and planning machinery. It will also discuss the political implication on urban planning and the role of public interest groups in influencing planning decisions.
