Abstract
This is a course for students to develop the strategies and skills necessary for effective language appreciation of literary texts (poems, short stories and plays) and to develop their appreciation for these texts. Course work focuses on the reading, understanding and appreciation of texts which use language creatively. Students are taught to appreciate, discuss, and orally present their understanding of poetry, short story and drama.
