Enhancing the Relau Metropolitan Park using green technology design approach / Mohammad Adlishah Rosli

Metropolitan Parks are an important factor of neighbourhood development because they provide a variety of recreation activities that help residents live healthier lives. In other words, because it influences how the city and neighbourhood are shaped and feel, it may also serve as a community centre that fosters trust and a sense of community. Public park design, particularly in metropolitan areas, faces numerous challenges because of connectivity issues that cause conflict between space and users, community disinterest in all outdoor activities that could harm the environment, and a lack of social activities in nearby public spaces. No significant research has been done to date to find a solution for this issue. The aim of this study is enhancing the Relau Metropolitan Park using Green Technology design approach, so that the park chances of survival might be increased. Additionally, this study focused on ( 1) to improve the connectivity conflict between space and users, (2) to provide a green technology design approach that emphasizes on the environment, and (3) to provide a service for human beings from the perspective of anthropology and sociology. Therefore, this study will emphasize the use of appropriate technology to solve the problems found in the study area.
