This internship report emphasizes the significant areas of work that have been completed as well as the essential components of UPM BM. Thus, this report also includes the scope that identifies and describes the duties, experiences, and accomplishments made during the internship. It gives and overview of UPM HOLDINGS that focuses on one of their subsidiaries which is UPM Business Management (UPM BM). This report also highlighted the main core business of UPM BM which they have a magnificent golf course environment with affordable price. Besides, every section of the report contains different specific topic to explore, and it provide solution to each issue. For company profile, it gives an in-depth overview of the mission statement, vision statement, background, and offerings of UPM BM. It also important to the business as it allows clients to make awareness and by having the profile it will assist them to get more information about the business. Next, for training reflection I have highlight the experience in handling various events, take part in outdoor activities, preparing task and learned about the event management. In addition, I have underlined the new achievement unlocked which I have challenge myself to be brave by being an emcee of the events. It requires a lot of determination and courage to ensure that everything will be smooth for the event. Thus, in UPM BM they require employees to take part of at least five training in this year. Therefore, I used to opportunity given to gain knowledge as much as possible. The main part of the report is to be able to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) in UPM BM. From the swot analysis, the business can come up with a new business model canvas after identifying the strength, weakness, and others at the organization. After underlined the swot of the business, each point will be discussed and provide recommendation to the issues. The main key point of strength in UPM BM is in terms of event management which is establish tournament organizer. Next, for the weakness of the company is related to the office management which partially using the online application for booking and registration and for opportunities is they need to a new prospect buyer for membership. Last but not least, the business needs to focus on the area of competition between other golf courses. In a nutshell, this internship has given me numerous benefits and experience to handle and work in the real work environment.
