FET626 : Sculpture dimension art and context (pilihan major) / College of Creative Arts

This module enables the student to progressively evolve a more self-motivated practice through practical, studio-based research whilst at the same time establishing research skills relevance to the context of this practice. Tutorials and group critiques hope to support the students in the developing further their individual enquiries through discussion of material and formal qualities of the students work in relation to their perceived of intended content. Tutorial and group critiques also guide each student in establishing a reading list appropriate to them. Lectures and seminars will equip the students with a knowledge based and research skills that help students to develop a range of research strategies including analysing the use of art journals, gallery visits and art criticism as well as looking at seminal areas of contemporary sculptures.
