Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between housing price index in Ma-laysia with Gross Domestic Product, Inflation, Population and Unemployment. The data ob-tained to conduct this study was collected in annually basis from year 1976 to 2016. In the pro-cess of findings, there are few types of analysis were tested using the Econometric Views (E-Views) such as Multiple Linear Regressions, normality test, unit root tests and more. Based on the result, it reveals that only one independent variable that are significant to housing price in-dex. The result further our understanding of the relationship between Malaysia housing price index and should be useful for government, investor and policy maker.
