Effectiveness of pickpocket awareness signage towards public in Kuala Lumpur

This study was carried out to determine the effectiveness of pickpocket awareness signage is effective towards the public to avoid it from happening. A total of 30 men and women age between 20 to 40 years old were randomly selected to be the respondent of the study. A set of questionnaire were distributed manually and online in order to reach the respondent easily. The overall findings of the study show that most of the respondents do not have enough knowledge about pickpocket because of the ineffective signage. In conclusion, some suggestion have been made to enhance the effectiveness of pickpocket signage have also been included in the final part of the report.
