Mewaholeo Industries Sdn Bhd / Anis Suriati Ayob

The story began with my internship journey at Mewaholeo Industries Sdn Bhd Pasir Gudang, luckily its company nearby to my house which is one of the biggest advantages for me. My internship period started from 1 March 2023 until 15 August 2O23.The company had placed me in Human Resource Department which aligned with my major course, Bachelor of Degree in Human Resource Management at UiTM Bandaraya Melaka. Within six month I was here, it allows me to gain more exposure in real world of working and able to utilize the skills, knowledge that I learnt in university. By doing the internship, I could learn to adapt and engage the new people and culture of the workplace. Aside from that, I'm so grateful to be permanent staff soon as Executive, Human Resouce in this company. For this report, I have merged all the information about the Mewah Group includes based on my observation, refer from the colleague, Mewah’s websites and also the internet. The introduction of the report should be including a company’s and student’s profile, vision, mission, objective, goals, organization structure and products. The explanation will allow us further understanding and having sufficient information to recognize about the company. Aside from that, the report also explained the summary of training reflection throughout my internship journey with task and responsibilities that I need to experience for. After that, the internship’s report is essential to come out with SWOT Analysis, must include the discussion and the recommendation from each point of issue/problems of the company. Last but not least, I need to conclude all the point of discussion and impression toward the internship program which might contribute for my readiness in my future career. About the SWOT Analysis, I have specific guidance from my supervisor to assist in identify the issue/ problem arise from the company. However, I also doing survey and observation in order to well understanding about the culture and behaviour in the workplace. Thus, it will bring me some ideas and ensure which part would bring the advantage and disadvantage to the company. My expectation through this internship program, I able to learn and explore more about the Human Resource comprise all expertise area such as recruitment, training, compensation & benefit, industrial relation and other HR related.
