Abstract
Sexual harassment refers to the unwanted conduct of a sexual nature or other conduct based on sex affecting the dignity of women and men. This can include unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct. Therefore, this study is conducted to study the awareness of the selected people towards sexual harassment. There are several objectives highlighted as guidelines to the study. First is to study the extent of public awareness and knowledge on sexual harassment. Second is to indicate how family background can create a better understanding on sexual harassment. Third is to examine the situations under which harassment occurs including personal experiences. Fourth is to study people's expectations towards culture that contributes a better knowledge on sexual harassment. The people who will be selected as the respondents are 64 from 70 people who live in Taman Sempelang A, Sembulan. Furthermore, most of the respondents are agreed towards awareness regarding the sexual harassment and it can be seen from the frequency and percentage by using the descriptive statistic.
