FET380 : Project report / College of Creative Arts

This course evolve around the problem of reporting by writing and presentation the understanding and the development of the project writing of Media Dimension seen in relation to the components of Art - subject, form and context (Ocvirk, Stinson, Wigg, Bone, Cayton, 2003), in the construction of pictorial syntax. Through observation, the studies investigate the associated concept of Media Dimension defined as: 1. Student will be facilitated accordingly to select and translate/explore the dimension of ideas through observation individually. 2. They will be encouraged to develop his/her works of pictorial syntax using suitable media and printing techniques. 3. The approaches are dealt with, to ensure student have a better grasp in linking subject matter, media and techniques towards an integrated and deeper understanding both in the processes and the techniques involved to the components of art – subject, form and content in creating and producing works for the final projects.
