My six-month industrial training at Casuarina Meru Sdn Bhd began on 1 March 2023 and ended on 15 August 2023. Casuarina Sdn Bhd is a private corporation in Ipoh, Perak that provides products and services to the hospitality and tourism industries. Casuarina is a 4-star hotel that focuses on providing both business and leisure travelers with the finest lifestyle and staycation options. It was founded in 2013. Hotel Casuarina Meru is one of Perak Corporation Berhad (PCB) subsidiaries. During my six months with the Human Resources department, 1 was designated as a human resource assistant to contribute to the success of the organization. All the knowledge acquired and utilized throughout the training will be most beneficial to my career moving forward. The objective of the programme is to fulfil the core requirements for a bachelor's degree in international business, allowing students to obtain a practical understanding of the university-studied theory, comprehend the operations in the human resource sector, and gain experience in a variety of fields. This company's mission is to lead the hotel industry in providing superior service that exceeds consumer expectations. The company is an ideal location for me to complete my final semester internship because it provides me with valuable work experience. Industrial training expands one's knowledge and experience for career advancement and growth. Casuarina Meru Sdn Bhd will suit the market in Ipoh better than any other hotel. I am also able to implement and put into practice some of the theoretical and practical knowledge gained during my previous studies. An employee's quickness, efficiency, skills, and competence in implementing a project efficiently are nonetheless observable in the real world. The effectiveness of a piece of work is evaluated based on whether it fulfils its function optimally. In conclusion, industrial training is an excellent program that can help students become more qualified in the fields that are in demand today. Throughout my industrial training, I have also seen how the actual environment of the workplace, as well as the positive working relationships, assist and work together.
