FES604 : Couture draping / College of Creative Arts

The course provides students the understanding of couture concepts and techniques in fashion for idea realization. It involves design and garment practice in a form of draping materials onto body forms. Students are to gain new knowledge and skills for obtaining new designs directly onto body rather than sketching the ideas on paper. Students will also gain new application of pattern techniques differs from flat patterns approaches.
