Abstract

The course provides theoretical and practical knowledge for students to understand the principles of pattern manipulation and the processes involved in managing garment productions. Students are to gain skills in advance application of various types and techniques of pattern manipulation. They would be able to apply terminologies used in garment productions and practice the discipline of garment production processes. Students will also continue to discover the variety of patterns in ladies’ apparel, material suitability and will be exposing to a new dimension of industrial working discipline. It will also encourage students to understand and to have the liberty to be creative in creating new shapes through cutting and making.
