The installation of reinforced concrete slab / Nor Haifa Nor Lizan

Reinforce concrete (RC) slab is a very important thing to elaborate. This is because RC slab is one of the most essential structural parts of a building. Moreover, currently there is limited research conducted on RC installation method in Commercial building. Besides that, this report will discuss about Reinforced Concrete Slabs for the commercial building. Next, this report was conducted for the construction of upgrading Vocational Secondary School Kota Tinggi to Vocational College Kota Tinggi, Johor. Furthermore, the aim of this report is to discuss the way of constructing slab and the issues encountered throughout the construction process. Besides, this study is carried out using three suitable methods, including observation, interview, referencing book and notes and internet. Lastly, to build a slab, the initial stages should be leveling the area, then setting up the formwork and reinforcement bars and finally the concreting procedure. However, installation issues such as whether and worker error have been discovered. To summarize, Reinforced Concrete Slabs are most frequent structural elements used in building construction and need more than 20 processes to accomplish. Also, understanding how to properly install a Reinforced Concrete slab is important, especially for builders who are planning to build a structure soon.
