FAB543 : Digital visual compositing & editing / College of Creative Arts

This course introduces students to the digital visual compositing and editing which combines two or sources to create a new image. It gathers elements for compositing from film/video, animation and still sources and the variety of techniques used as to manipulate and combine them. Students will also be exposed to the image-making through the study of frame composition, blue/ green screen, editing and timing, screen colour theory and other compositing tools and techniques found in the post production software tools. This project-based course works in collaboration with other courses upon completing a final project.
