This industrial training is compulsory for Semester 6 students, in order to complete their diploma studies. Before entering the real world, students must look for and apply for internships at any company connected to the chemical engineering industry. They are also required to submit important documents upon their application for the requirement to be accepted in the company applied. The goal of this course is to provide students with exposure and opportunities to gain real­ world job experience. This course is particularly advantageous for them since it allows students to broaden their knowledge, learn more about current chemical businesses, and apply the theories they acquired throughout their diploma to real-world environment. Furthermore, after finishing the Industrial Training, students may improve their own flaws in order to develop and think more rationally in the handling supplied by the company. Employers can examine students' ability to work during their industrial training. Students can develop a sense of productivity in handling the challenges and obstacles occurs while training. Students are required to undergo this industrial training programmed for a minimum of 16 weeks to fulfil a total of 7 credit hours. The 17-week duration of this industrial training is compulsory as it is to fulfil the requirements by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) for the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) for undergraduate students. I have found a place to undergo industrial training in the National Metrology Institute of Malaysia (NMIM), SIRIM BERHAD. In this position, I was placed in the Chemical Group of Gas Laboratory. During this training, I was given the opportunity to follow the learning involved Gas Preparation, Gas Calibration and Gas Analysis related.
