Abstract
This course focuses on equipping students with a basic knowledge of the English sound system to enable them to understand and produce the sounds of the language. The course emphasises awareness of aspects of pronunciation and enunciation that contribute to intelligibility and fluency of speech. It is designed to help students develop clear pronunciation and strategies for self-correction.
