Abstract

Students are introduced to embroidery art through basic surface design methods, design manipulation and basic embroidery techniques. The course provides students the understanding of the elements and principals of embroidery design and technique. This course teaches students to adapt to a more broad based experimental embroidery style, suitable for application to fashion and accessories.
