The industrial air conditioning is based on the mechanism such as fluid, generally water or air is cooled by evaporation of another fluid called as the refrigerant. As of today, air conditioning is the single largest electrical power consumer in buildings in Malaysia. Because of this, the need of maintenance needs to be done in order to ensure the quality of the system can be sustained. The aim of this report was conducted for the maintenance works including the removal and the installation of the air condition unit throughout the required building in UiTM Cawangan Perak, Kampus Seri Iskandar. The objective of this report is to determine the maintenance process of air conditioning system at UiTM Cawangan Perak, Kampus Seri Iskandar as well as to identify the problems and solutions of maintenance process at UiTM Cawangan Perak, Kampus Seri Iskandar. The study will focus on the procedures and the types of air conditioner units involved including the method used for each maintenance works. The method used for this case study is involving observation, which is throughout the process of whole maintenance period at the specific places. The other method used is through interviews that were done by some interviewing session with the supervisor and skill assistant regarding the maintenance works. With the objectives of this report successfully achieved, the methods as well as the procedures done throughout the maintenance process were learned to increase knowledge of air conditioning system as all works were excellently done by the whole team. Besides that, the study also gain understanding about the problems and solutions of air conditioning system around UiTM Seri Iskandar. In addition, this report also took a huge aspect regarding the element of damages and the status of work priority within the maintenance period to solve the problems.
