My sculpture artwork celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Wau Bulan, a traditional Malay- sian kite known for its elegance and grace. Wau Bulan represents more than just a flying ob- ject; it symbolizes unity, strength, and the indomitable spirit of the Malaysian people. Through the use of dynamic lines, I aim to capture the essence and vibrancy of this captivating art form. The lines flow and intertwine, mimicking the dance of Wau Bulan in the sky while sym- bolising our diverse society’s interconnectedness. By employing these dynamic lines, I seek to evoke a sense of awe and wonder, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the cultural nar- rative woven into the art piece. I intend to create visually captivating artwork that transcends cultural boundaries, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the traditions and artistic expressions that make our world so diverse and vibrant. Through the dynamic lines of my sculpture, I aim to ignite a sense of wonderment, inspire dialogue, and celebrate the beauty and significance of Wau Bulan in our shared human experience.
