Industrial training report: Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Terengganu / Siti Hanisah Soleha Ghani

This industrial training report consists of five chapters that includes the introduction, organization information, industrial training activities, industrial training reflective writing and conclusion. The library that has accepted my application to do 5 months of industrial training was Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Negeri Terengganu. In order to complete the study, the students need to exhaustive 5 months of industrial training started 1st August until 31st December 2019. The industrial training provides exposure for the real life of work and career option with different work environment. Most of the tasks that were given to me during industrial training are related to library management in library field. Apart from that, it was a valuable experienced that was gain by the students from the project, programs and activities that has been done and handle. During five months of industrial training, students manage to learn and understand the work flow and duty at every single division which are Acquisition, Cataloguing, Services, Circulation, and Administration. The training schedule has been prepared by the assistant administrative officer who also my supervisor to ensure the students learn and get important knowledge from every divisions. Besides that, students manage and able to improve their communication skill, build self-confidence and be more discipline especially when it involves time management. Last but not least, the knowledge, skills and experience gained during the industrial training is the best time and best method to be the best information professional in the future.
