Abstract

Industrial training is an important phase of a student's life. A well planned, properly executed and evaluated industrial training helps in developing a professional attitude and behavior. It develops an awareness of industrial approach to the problem solving, based on a broad understanding of process and mode of operation of the organization. The aim of this industrial training is to train and receive a skills, teamwork, and discipline and technical knowledge through a proper training of working environment. The purpose of this documentation is to report the activities that have been done by the industrial trainee. During the period of 5 months training at UoC Library & Knowledge Management Centre, trainee was assigned to do the daily task in the library such as manning the circulation counter, shelving and shelf reading and handle all the activities that held by the library. The industrial trainee also has been assigned to do some special project to fulfil the industrial training syllabus and to make industrial trainee aware with working environment.
