Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out whether the uses of language games enhance learning among young ESL learners in the upper primary school. Using language games, it was found that after a week the students who were taught the English language, achieved significantly in their lesson and they easily overcome their passiveness. With language games they easily interact with their friends making English language teaching much easier than they did before. It was concluded that the use of language games for the teaching of the English language in the ESL classroom was effective in improving students' interaction and their perception towards the language itself.
