Abstract
The course aims primarily to inculcate critical thinking and analytical skills in the students for the analysis of the literary genre of drama. Students are required to critically read the chosen texts, analyze and examine structures and strategies that the playwrights use in their creative works to create specific themes and plots structured in different acts and scenes. The students will also learn to apply and contextualize principles/approaches of dramatic analysis in their own creative works.
