CTW335 : Playwriting / College of Creative Arts

This introductory course will give students tools and strategies to jump-start the imagination and meaningful creative work. The emphasis will be on developing each student’s own script writing skills for stage which is based on the story of real human experiences. Students will also learn about tonil, opera, bangsawan, sandiwara, citrawara, purbawara, jenakawara, pantomime, tablo as well as contemporary theater. By the end of the semester, each student will produce a 30-page script for the stage.
