CTW233 : Introduction to screenplay / College of Creative Arts

The course aims to give students the basic understanding of screenplay components and tools. Students are exposed to major components of screenplay such as narrative structure, plot, character, motivation, emotions, format, dialogue, subtext and so forth. In order to achieve this, students are required to write a 20-minute screenplay, character biography or biographies, a narrative treatment of the story idea and prepare a film journal.
