Abstract

This course exposes students to the basic history of modern and traditional narrative literature. Students will then learn various ways of brainstorming ideas and their habit of producing ideas will be nurtured throughout the semester. They will discover the techniques of putting these ideas into creative writing through diverse literary format and styles. At the end of their course, the student will come up with their own short story while being able to critically analyze the work of others.
