CTW112 : Traditional theatre script / College of Creative Arts

This course is an introductory class for students to prepare and write a script inspired by the Malaysian traditional theatres such as Makyong, Bangsawan, Wayang Kulit, Mek Mulong and so forth. Students are introduced to types of traditional theaters and the form/looks of stage play scripts. Students will learn specific techniques, methods and practical exercises during the course of this class. The course focuses on producing a 60 – 90 minutes traditional theater script.
