Abstract
Personal taxation plays a crucial role in the functioning of a country's economy and society. However, taxpayers often face challenges in gathering all the necessary financial data for tax filing. They may encounter situations where they are missing certain financial records or have incomplete documentation due to lost receipts, or misplaced documents. One of the tax reliefs is the purchase of books; the cost of buying books can reduce chargeable income up to RM2500. Failing to produce those receipts will result in unnecessarily paying higher tax. HASSLE FREE BS2TAX is an addition to the bookstore website. Customers of the bookstore can login to their HASSLE FREE BS2TAX account. When purchases are done, HASSLE FREE BS2TAX will add the amounts of purchases and the receipts. At the end of the year, HASSLE FREE BS2TAX will sum up the purchases and the customers can easily transfer the amount into their e-filing. Thus, the objective of HASSLE FREE BS2TAX is to make recording of book purchases easier and ensure no incomplete and missing tax data. HASSLE FREE BS2TAX is unique because upon checking on lens.com it was found that there is no existing copyright registered similar to this product. This product benefits society in multiple ways. It promotes accurate reporting of book relief for tax purposes. It also enhances financial literacy by ensuring taxpayers are aware that book purchase can reduce their tax payable. HASSLE FREE BS2TAX has the potential for commercialization by offering an innovative solution for tax compliance in the bookstore industry.
