Abstract
This course aims to provide an overview of directing a play. It focusses on the six fundamentals of directing: actors, composition, picturization, movement, rhythm and pantomimic dramatization. Students will be exposed to analyze a text, translate the ideas and concepts of a text into a stage performance after which they would be given the opportunity to handle the actors in the rehearsal spaces.
