Abstract
This study is an exploration on roles of School Library lo support 1tudents' self motivation in learnlng among secondary students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Pendang, Kedah. Students must have the self motivation In learning because the motivation Is very useful and matters to differentiate between one person to anothers. Being Self-motivated means driven, focused, ready for objective discussion, also being sharp and smart enough not to be manipulated and be open to positive learning. Being in this state of mind always, is the challenge. The objectives of of this study are to measure the self motivation among secondary students in learning based on the roles of school library in their schools. The performance of school library was influenced the self motivation of students in learning such as the weak of teacher libranan, lack of library resources and library service can avoid students interest to goes to a library. So, in this research we can found are problem that already faced by a students in secondary school and school library. Besides, we can get a problem solving and make a school library better on provides best services to their students. The independent vanables of this study are roles of teacher librarian, library resources and library services While the dependent variables is roles of school library support students' self motivation in learning among secondary students. This study will use correlational, investigati ons, minimal interference, non- contrived selling, individual unit of analysis, and cross sectional of time horizon. The data gathered using a set o f questionnaire and analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) Software.
