Abstract
Citizens in Malaysia especially Malays are not consent about Islamic estate planning as well as Islamic wealth management. Therefore it leads to unclaimed asset as well as frozen estate. According to (Mujani, Hussain, Yaakub, & Rashid, 2012) , it has been estimated that RM42 billion worth of asset had not been claimed by the heirs. According to the previous researcher, the cases of unclaimed inheritance and frozen estate have been on the rise. Moreover according to (Hassan & Abdul Rashid, 2014) recent statistic shows that some 52 billion worth of asset waiting to be distributed among the heirs. Therefore it is important for this research to be done in order to determine the factors that inhibiting wasiyyah practice. This is because by leaving wasiyyah, this will help to reduce the cases of unclaimed inheritance and frozen estate.
